Enter to win: Custom nursery artwork!

ENTRY IS NOW CLOSED.

OK, folks.  I'm kicking off a new giveaway for this month.  The winner will get a custom 16x20" piece of artwork created by Bobo's Room.

Sound interesting?  Keep reading.

You can enter in two easy steps:
  1. Become a Facebook fan of Bobo's Room Custom Nursery Artwork, if you're not one already.
  2. Come back to this post and leave a comment about what kind of artwork you'd like hanging in your little one's room.  Please give me a few, concise details about what styles, subjects and colors speak to you, so I can get a feel for what look you're going for.
That's all you have to do to enter.  Easy peasy.

It's worth mentioning that this is a completely biased, non-random-drawing contest.  The winner will be chosen based on what sounds interesting to me to paint.  As a commissioned artist, I truly do enjoy working with parents to create all types of artwork, but I rarely get to pick and choose the projects I take on.  Thus, the inspiration for this month's giveaway.

Oh, and if you tweet or Facebook (is that a verb?) about this contest, please leave me an additional comment about it here.  This last step is purely optional, but will earn you big brownie points, and will probably sway my vote a bit if I get a couple of entries I really like.

Hey, I warned you this was biased.

What You'll Get:
  • A custom, hand-painted 16x20" piece of artwork for your little one's room.  If your entry is chosen as the winner, I'll send you my contact information, and we'll work together to create something really unique.
  • Shipping within the continental U.S. will be included with the painting.  If you live in Timbuktu (literally), or anywhere else outside the lower 48, you're welcome to enter, but I may ask you to help out with shipping a bit, depending on the costs.
Looking for inspiration?  Check out some representative samples of artwork I've done for other rooms here.

Contest entries will close on Friday, June 4.  Good luck!

  3. I love the look of the Hadley's room pieces, but I would put a twist on it. I would want not only a turtle since that is what I call my daughter Lily. My little turtle, but.... I would want the turtle in or around a pond with a lily pad floating in it (once again, in honor of my daughter Lily). I love the pastel colors you use and would prefer a lavender border. This would make my month to have!! Adorable art!

If I were to win, Id love something Sweet Pea related for my twins. My husband always called me Pea and when we found out we were having twins, it stuck for them, too. They are almost 6 months now and we still call them our little peas.

    Your artwork is beautiful!

I LOVE your artwork! This is perfect timing, we are hoping to move soon and so we will be redoing my son's room! We are doing a sport's theme so I would love to have artwork that had sports balls and my son's name, Tobin, on it and I would love the background to be like a baby blue or some type of blue. I know whatever you come up with would be awesome if I am chosen!

  18. Lol! Love the biased bit! I'm a fb fan! (picturing me doing a Bobo's room cheer! YAY!!)

Lets see if I can sway you ;-) My girls rooms are ballet pink and the nursery is lavender, light yellow and green. The nursery is probably the room where I would love an original piece-so lets go with that! It's french provincial in feel-so I am completely loving your french pieces! What about a french sweets shop with my Daughter's name (Aubrey) painted in candy jars? Or....what about having her name painted on an awning for a french flower shop? Or on the flower buckets themselves? Ooooooo, the possibilities are endless!! Even a cabana beach house theme could be cute! (although I would put that in the three year olds room-so cute and bright!!)

If you need more swaying, I could go on and on about the absolute brilliance of your creativity! The beauty of your paintings! The colors! The subjects! The genius! (too much? Ok, I'll tone it down! ;-))

    Love your work!! Fingers crossed!!!

  20. I'm your newest FB fan! Found you over at BlogFrog and read some of your blog. Good grief can I relate to your plane ride. yikes!

But my dream artwork would be something vintage-y with baby dolls, dress-up clothes, etc. I have a baby who has a room decorated in vintage style.

    thanks for hosting this contest!
